Congratulations to Courtney Huckabee
2022-2023 Marguerite Whitmarsh Holman Award winner!

Each year, the Junior League of Texarkana honors an active member in recognition of her contributions to our league and the community. This year, we are pleased to honor Courtney Huckabee as JLT’s recipient of the Marguerite Whitmarsh Holman Award for 2022-2023.

Courtney was born & raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas and is a huge football fan WAR EAGLE!!! She, and her husband, Matthew, were married this past March on the beach in Jamaica. Courtney takes great pride in being a bonus Mom to her stepson, William. Known by her friends as Coco, she is a lover of coffee and animals, especially dogs! She currently has 3 dogs, 2 of which are new puppies from a dog she rescued off the side of the road.

Courtney transferred from the Junior League of Little Rock where she was an active member from 2013-2016, during that time she served as Stuff the Bus Marketing Manager, Little Readers Rock Marketing Manager-Elect and Little Readers Rock Marketing Manager. She has been a member of the Junior League of Texarkana since 2019 and has served in many roles for the league: Spring Into Reading Committee, Nominating Placement Committee, Nominating Placement Committee VP and Membership Council VP.

Courtney lights up any room she enters and makes a point to make everyone fell included and welcomed. She represents what we want others to know about the Junior League of Texarkana; friendship, compassion, encouragement and loving your fellow sister.

For these reasons and many others, Courtney Huckabee is truly deserving of the Marguerite Whitmarsh Holman Award.
